I Love God and God Loves Me!
I am a 15-year-old Christian believer. Three years ago I went to a church Bible camp. I was nervous, scared, and I didn't want to go. I thought it was a waste of my time. My mom and I were fighting all the time. I didn't know anybody there and I felt lonely.
Praise the Lord I was wrong! I saw the believers singing and standing up. When I stood up I felt the Lord touch me within. It was the first time I ever felt God move in me. I met good friends there and I could see God move in them too. The elders encouraged us to sing, read the Bible and pray.
During the meetings we went through a book called Salvation, The one point that struck me is that God died for us on the cross. That struck me because I thought, “Who would die for me? Who would die for my friends?” I was so lost and confused. Then one of the elders said, “God died for us because He loves us.” All I said was, “Wow.” When it was my turn I shared that point with an opened heart and filled with God. I want to remain a faithful believer and love God for all eternity!
